Down and out in Dublin (Again)

I'm homeless again, the land lady sold the flat and I'm living on a friends couch in Stonybatter, a fair walk from town. The hostel I stayed in last, Jacobs Inn, has jacked up their prices so no going there, and so many people apply to a listing on Daft that I'm permently loosing a popularity contest in the most ego deflating manner.

I really cannot believe my utter failure to find a room on Daft, I'm only asking for a south side single room for under 400 Euro p/m, and I've phoned about 40 places, seen ten, been invited to move in by none. They say listed twenty minutes ago, to call after five, and I phone on the dot and they tell me its already gone! This means either somebody's cheating or there's something in my voice that disturbs people... I think being male is a disadvantage to. Woman tend to prefer living with woman, and men, well, want woman to move as well...

I'm thinking that this, combined with being sick of my job, means my crazy Dublin adventure should round of the an end around now. Thinking end of November, then doss for a week before heading back to Liverpool and probably spend the time leading up until Christmas working on my MP3 collection, a very noble pastime.
