Design Faults With The Sony NW-HD5
I've been in the MP3 age for a while now, and I think there are a few things I need to get off my chest concerning the limitations of the technology:
It all comes down to the player being far to dependent upon possession of a home computer or laptop, which I don't have
All in all however, it's still better than what people think of iPods
- No way to make playlists as you go along, must be done on computer
- Music has to be copied using SonicStage, which you cannot download onto Internet cafe computers
- It's also excessivly cautious over file sharing. Once copied from a computer to the player, files (Including their details, such as album and genre) can only be edited from the original computer.
- Is it me, or is the volume really low all the time?
